Doris was designed with the child in your life in mind. The team came up with the idea after their own offspring had trouble maneuvering the bigger boats. It also gives that child a sense of responsibility to maintain its very own kayak. The actual design itself is a very robust one where it is easy to paddle and light to carry. It is a fun boat and great way of getting your child into the water and hopefully to follow in your paddle pockets.
