The K&N YA-6008 is a high-flow air filter designed to be a direct replacement for the stock filter in the Yamaha YZF-R6, including the race-specific models from 2021 to 2024. Unlike the paper original, this filter uses a unique layered, oiled cotton gauze media engineered to significantly increase airflow into the engine. This part number is the standard, street-use high-flow filter (not the race-spec ‘R’ version, which has less filtration and requires fuel mapping changes).
